I just got my a4 with an apr exhaust and 1.0 bar chip...all i can say is all i wanna do is drive it now. when im not driving it, im thinking about driving it. 262 ft lbs from 2 easy bolt ons can compete with bmw and mercedes. And remember this, I got all of this in an a4 with 70k miles and 18s for $13,500.

oh, if u can get same h/p from your vw passat (aka audi a4) then great. people can do same with their benz or bmws and get same power, if not more. remember bmws dont use 4 bangers but they use 6 cynlinders on their cheapest cars (325i). audi's 1.8 just cant compete with more power and refined bmw's 2.5 6cynlender.

by the way, 1.8 really isnt a real audi engine, it is a vw engine.

I used to think that Audis were expensive VW's.

Then I drove one, and found out how wrong I was.

I used to own a loaded GLX VR6 jetta (you know, with memory seats, HID headlights, wood trim, everything) and now I own a 1.8T A4. There is a world of difference. The jetta, even though a little more equipped, doesn't even come close to the driving feeling and the luxurious ambiance the audi gives.

Dude, try driving a good (recent too) audi and then a passat W8 or whatever. There is a huge difference.

Saying that an Audi is an overpriced VW is like saying that Mercedes is an overpriced Chrysler or that jaguar is an overpriced Ford...

What ever! youre just pissed cuz car and driver rated the s4 and rs6 above all the bmws and benzs. If you knew what you were talking about than you would know that an audi is its own car. Ever heard of quattro. Or have you ever sat inside an audi and then a vw. look at the craftsmanship. Also if you knew anything about audis you would know that the 1.8t in the jetta is worse than the 1.8 in the a4. Im thinking that youre just pissed because you cant afford it.

Hey Rein you lucky bastard having that motor in your A4. Iv'e just got a 1.8 Turbo in my a4 Avant but im happy with it. I just love everything about audi, it's genuine quality like all German cars are.

Wouldnt it have been more clever to have test driven the Audi first, that way you would have gotten the feel for the car straight away...........
I'm an Audi fanatic, infact i love most German cars.......pure quality as i said before. The audi actually suits my budget quite nicely. The BMW is a nice car but i dont have the extra cash for all the visits to the mechanic. The Mercedes is also beautiful but im not a business man and im not over 50 years old !?!
