Talking Recommended spark plugs for 98 Regal

Hello all. Which plugs are best? What else is recommend for tune-up? I'm going to change wires also. Car has 46k on it. Tranny fluid? Fuel filter etc?
3800 engine normally aspirated.

The car should have platinum plugs in it so you shouldn't need to replace them at this point with only 46K miles. If you want to go ahead and change them get an AC Delco or another brand name plug such as Champion, NGK, etc. Bosch are cheap but I don't really recommend them. As for other parts a new PCV valve, air cleaner and fuel filter. As for the tranny change the fluid and filter and you should be good to go.

Do you guys spray down the throttle body Isc etc with cleaner as part of a tune up? The PCV was changed when I did the upper and lower intake gaskets and manifold. Where is the fuel filter located?

You really don't need to spray the throttle body unless you just want to clean it. A clean throttle body will promote better air flow and may make for some increased fuel mileage. The fuel filter location on my Pontiac GTP was near the fuel tank. It should be in that area or along the frame rail.

Re: Recommended spark plugs for 98 Regal

NGK Iridium TR55IX spark plugs work fine on either the NA or supercharged SII 3800 engines. Better cost than AC Delco too. The double platinum Delco plugs were discontinued but possibly still available depending on the supplier.

The fuel filter on your Regal is located on the driver's side of the car back towards the passenger door which is the same location as just about any late model GM "W" body cars.
