Unhappy 97 Breeze won't start

I have a 97 2.0 breeze that has recently had problems starting. The breeze completely died one night. No noise when we turned the key, no lights, no radio. We replaced the starter and the car returned to normal and was working fine. A couple days later we are back to the same problem. No noise, no lights, no radio. We took the starter back to make sure we didnt get a faulty starter but the starter is fine. Are there any suggestions as to what the problem could be? We were told to make sure all connections were properly grounded but are having a hard time understanding where these connections are and what to look for. Could anyone give more specific instructions as to how to check these connections?

Re: 97 Breeze won't start

From your description it sound like you do have a bad connection or possibly a bad battery. When the starter was replaced was a battery cable disconnected to remove voltage from the car or were the cables disconnected at the jumpstart stud? If you don't have a manual you canuse this link. http://www.lib.az.us/azlibrary/res.php Under key resources and click on Auto Repair Referenc Center. This will take you to a simple repair manual that may help you.
