92 Z34 died/no start

I have a 92 Lumina Z34 with about 110,000 miles. just replaced fuel injector and fixed 3 vacuum lines. car started and ran great with the exception of both cooling fans running non stop all the time. A day later driving down road and car just died, no sputter no nothing just died. got it pulled over and hood up, noticed upper intake plenum and throttle body and coolant hoses were extremely hot. Temp gauge said normal operating temp but i don't think any coolant was being pumped through motor. so now it wont start at all, it turns over and is getting gas and spark as far as i can tell but wont start. If anybody could help it would be greatly appreciated.

pull the ignition module ,(its under the coil packs), take it to the parts store and get it tested, also check the wires that run down the back of the engine to make sure there not touching the exhust and all melted together

Re: 92 Z34 died/no start

here is the wire that run down the back that can melt and short out on the exhaust, which kills the engine instantly dead like yours (crank position sensor)

If you were running hot, that could have been to finally melt thru the wire

I have already had to replace the wire from it melting on the exhaust, you can see the black wire loom melted towards the bottom. This is a 98 you probably have similiar
