Alfa Romeo SZ
I can't believe no one has written about this amazing car!!
It was penned by the famous designer Zagato (man that guy has drawn some mean looking cars!). It was designed to shock, and that it did! I think it was available on sale in 1990. It's powered by a 3l V6 which develops 210bhp and propels the car to 60 in just under 7 seconds and up to a maximum of 146mph. Despite its bulky looks, the car is agile, its handling superb and entertaining, with communicative steering. The car is prone to oversteer in the wet but roadholding is pretty impressive. The cabin is beautiful and a very pleasant place to be. "car magazine" labelled it "ugly as sin and just as tempting". This car absolutely bewitches me. It's so *ugly* it's beautiful. Does that make any sense?? I didnt think so! If i could have any 3 cars (realistically), it would be one of these, a Lancia Delta Integrale Evolution and a Lancia Hyena. Each one a beast! Not many SZ's were made so they're very rare. Initially there were all in red until limited editions in yellow and black were produced (correct me if im wrong). Damn i love this car! cheers jay

i've only ever seen one, a yellow cabrio.... i have never seen so many people stare at a car in my life... it got more attention than Ferraris and Diablos do! those are common as muck
 .. when they saw the SZ, they were in a state of shock!! cheers jay

I've never seen this car in my life but it's really phatty lookin. I'd buy one but I live in the retarded US. Nice cars like that aren't legal here.
