Exhaust & Air Intake

I have a 1999 Honda Accord EX V-6 and was wondering if I have to add some kind of racing chip in order for my car to adjust to both of these mods. Exhaust & Air Intake

no its not nesacerry to do that, but just unplug the ecu fuse for like 5 mins, then put it back and start the car, but dont touch the gas at all, wait for like 5mins and then drive around, the ecu should adjust for the extra air volume.

AEM is the best on the market, but there are ways to make a cai from some exhaust piping, im not sure of the site, but search through some old post and you'll find it.

thermal is also a very good exhaust comapny, along with apexi, greddy, and tanabe, all worth the money imo.

honestly...if u compare the Injen to the AEM to the ICEMAN on a dyno chart (for stock cars) each will be about equal. there really isn't ANY noticable difference at all.

u could even buy a no-name CAI, an u'll really not see a difference. i do suggest a K&N air filter however...those ARE the best on the market (still not gonna make a big difference however)

on a dyno they are all the same....but in real life driving, the plastic iceman is the best. you can pull over from hard driving with an aem intake and it almost sizzle when you touch it. an iceman never gets as hot and it cools down WAY faster. ps...ive had both.

(iceman CA intake cut before the down bend)
