Duplicating my CRX

Well i haven't built anything for an absolute age, but i bought a Honda CRX a short while ago and decided it would be cool to make a mini one
This is using the Fujimi CR-X Si kit (1/24)

I have to fill those holes in. My car is the 1.6i 16 so it doesn't have anything there.

I've started to make a spoiler already. Nearly finished it. The one that came with the kit is all wrong.

Then i should probably make the space wider for the number plate at the back because it is the euro version and not the US one. Don't know yet though, it's alot of work...

Sweet CRX!
I seldom see any anywhere near that nice on the streets here. I would do the mods to the rear plate. Just do some planning before you start cutting and it shouldn't be too hard.

Thanks! Yeah i got pretty lucky. some older dude that only drove it in the summer had it before me. I think it's the best original one i've seen. No respray.
I decided to leave the number plate spot and not put a number plate there. maybe that way it won't be so noticable. :P Abit lazy i know but i might ruin it otherwise.

Re: Duplicating my CRX

Filled in the holes on the front:

Then painted it with the primer coat.

Masked that off and painted the colour and cleared.

Re: Duplicating my CRX

Nice job, your 1:1 ride looks sweet as well.
I have the idea to make a replica of my real CRX as well, but it' going to be more complicate as it's the 1.6 i-VT version, equivalent to the JDM SiR that has never been produced in kit form.
Btw, the Fujimi kit you used is a 1.6i16 too, but it's a phase 2 version hence the differences on the front spoiler with yours.
