I plan on going with Champion but which ones for an 02 4.7L?

Copper

PKU:
Champion Copper RC12MCC4 (if I remember correctly) worked fine for me.

When I changed my oem set at 30k, there was plenty of life left.

Is it easier on the engine and/or more fuel efficient to run hotter or colder plugs and which numbers mean which are hotter/colder? Thanks

Re: Spark Plug Experience

Puffin:

Changing the heat range of your plugs will not gain you anything unless you have a modified motor.

Folks with superchargers sometimes run a colder plug to help prevent pre detonation from excessive cylinder temps.

Your best bet is to go with the OEM Champions which can be had for ~$18 a set.
