2002 front motor mount

I need help. My wifes 2002 malibu clunks every time it goes into gear. It really looks like the motor mounts have too much play. I replaced the front left hydraulic mount yesterday and I thought it was fixed. The violent clunking became a smooth roll and the noise stopped. For about an hour and it started up again.
I really think the front mount needs replacing. I don't have the Haynes manual and can't find anything online. The replacable insert isn't expensive. My mechanic quoted me a price of $212.00 + tax.
I'm broke. I just can't afford it right now, I'd like to do this myself. How tough of a job is this?

okay from wat i know...... its not hard to replace the motor mount, all you have to do is lift up the engine a little bit with a jack to unsrew the bolts and take out the motor mount. replace the old one with the new one and srew back the bolts and lower the engine. then your done.....
