Re: Dodge Grand caravan code
P1389 or P1398? Perhaps its a misprint?
Not sure why the van would blow an ignition fuse and still show a DRB code, but a P1398 (MIL 11) is for the Crank position sensor, and could also indicate a broken flexplate (either one would not cause the van to blow a fuse, normally?) Perhaps your Crank position sensor is shorting out? but we'd really need to define if it is a P1398 not P1389. try the MIL light: does it flash 1-1 then 5-5? then try the crank position sensor or secondly, the Cam position sensor (both?). They're easy to change. Always use a new paper gasket on the crank sensor.

Re: Dodge Grand caravan code
No it says P1389 something about no auto shutdown relay to pcm (whatever that means)

Re: Dodge Grand caravan code
1300 codes are always communication codes so the code your getting makes sense the asd relay supplies the power to your fuel injectors and sensors so my guess is you have a short in your wiring somewhere in your engine harness start by looking carefully at where your engine harness runs across brackets etc that could have rubbed through the insulation somewhere
