96 buick park ave 92 pontiac bonneville

does any one know if the engine in a 92 pontiac bonneville 3.8 will work in a 96 buick park ave with a 3.8 i know i would have to change intake, exhaust and sensors but is the block the same. Thanks

I'd be interested to see the answer.

Since the Bonneville has a 3800 Series I, and the 96 Park Ave has a 3800 Series II.

Here is a link i found http://www.enginebuildermag.com/arti...ck_engine.aspx the way it sounds the block from 92 to 96 had more bolt holes in the block might go ahead and pull both out and sit them side by side to see only cost me time.
