2002 PA continues to leak water in

I thought I had the water leak stopped, but washed the car yesterday and found this morning that water continues to leak in somewhere as there is water on the floor-right rear again. About a month ago, I caulked in, with clear silicone, the little gap on that runs along the roof above the doors.

I have drain holes drilled in the floor, but it saturates the carpet, which is a giant sponge of sound-deadening foam. I also have drilled drain holes in the very bottom of the rocker panel in case the water was getting in through a drain between the 2 doors. This did not help as the water continues to come in somewhere.

I pulled in the right front door tighter thinking that the water was getting in along the doors. There is no evidence of water along the doors. It somehow emerges at the bottom.

What is the possibility that water is running through at the bottom of the windshield and it makes it back to the floor pan in the right rear? I was wondering where the water is supposed to drain for that area.

It does not have a sunroof. I rechecked the doors and everything looks and seems tight.

Does your AC drip under the car? Is there a chance its drain is stopped up?

Most likely it's the water shield inside the door. It is caulked with a gooey body caulk in V-shaped patterns to guide the water getting into the door to go into the metal inside the door and drain out the holes at the bottom Are the drain holes at the bottom open? Are they partly covered by the rubber seals on a Park Ave?

If the plastic water shield is not caulked, the water comes on down the plastic and out from under the inner beauty layer of the door. You might be able to find drips or tracks falling onto the door sill and then running down.

Thanks. I'll take a closer look at the doors and the drain holes. When water has been present on the floor, I have never noticed water on the door edge. There is part of the center piece between the two doors, where it meets the floor, that is very rusted and it appears water seeps through that area, which I believe would mean it is coming in through the rocker panel below the doors, but I'm not for sure. Also, I do not know how the water would get in there. I'll look at those door drains.

The ac drips pretty good on the ground below the car, so it appears to be draining out okay.

The right rear door weep rear drain hole is wide open. The front one was questionable. I had to angle a wire into it. I believe it was partially open, but couldn't tell for sure. The rubber edge seemed to partially block the opening. It may make a difference. I'll have to see how it does.

Yeah, I kind of wondered about the possibility of the water coming in through the trunk. I thought I would spray it down good on the right side this weekend and see if any water appears. If it doesn't, I'll spray the trunk next and then the front below the windshield to see which area produces water on the floor.
