Post NV1500 (1998 2.2L 5 Speed) swap into a 93 GMC Sonoma 2.5 L

Anyone know if the NV1500 5 speed from a 98 S-10 will bolt up to a 93 2.5 Iron Duke in a Sonoma? If it's not a straight swap what mods are needed? I think the hydraulic clutch cyl is different and that the VS and backup switch are on the opposite side of the trans. What about the rear trans mount? Driveshaft spline? Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Best to check with the salvage yard interchange book.
