2003 crv trouble code p1077

my pocket scan tool gave me this p1077 code. wasnt on pocket guide book it came with, so i went online and it said;
code P1077 intake manifold tuning valve- short stuck

now i dont know really what the hell it really means, so anyone got any info?

The P1077 triggered the MIL intermittently and I replaced the IMT (IMRC) solenoid valve. It cost about 150 and took about 10 minutes to install. Erased the code and the MIL has been off. I did not notice any loss of power or mpg with the P1077 triggering the MIL
