what am i driving

My wife and i had to buy a car quick fast and in a hurry. I bought a vw Jetta 2006 manual. love the car so far but dont know what i have. I need to order a headliner for it as mine has an issue but when i go to look them up they ask me questions i cant answer. is there a way i can find out exactly what model and trim package etc. i have. the dealer didnt know he wasnt a vw dealer. im normally not this ignorant of such things. i do know its a 2.5 ltr. engine kind of dissapointed on the mpg any suggestions there would help as well.
