Fuel tank access to fuel pump.....
Bought a 85 SE from a friend for my daughter (she had to have it) it's been sitting awhile (a few yrs) now I know what I have to replace on it and rebuild after I get it running.........I want to know if it's possible to cut an access hole over the fuel tank under the console? I just don't have a way to get it high enough to remove the tank... looks like an easy job...then just make a cover plate to go back over it.....any opinions? or am I

The fuel tank is in the middle of the car between the seats. All of the wiring from the front of the car runs under the console plus your shift cables.
