93 XJ Random Start Issue

Hey guy's, Got my 4.0 AT @180,000. It randomly revs up to 1800 RPM at start-up then settles back down to 800 RPM, This happens when cold or after sitting for a hour but not all the time.

Any ideas what to look at, I HATE my cold engine revving like this.....

Thanks

dirty throttle body or stuck throttle body cable. Try cleaning and lubing.
