front licensplate?
hey people i got caught up in some street racing bust and i got a fix-it-ticket for not having a front license plate on my 2nd gen. how can i put a plate on without dilling into my bumper even if it is temparary. i just want it on there long enough to get a cop to sign off on it. thanks.

hmm. I dunno what your bumper looks like, unless its stock. Just do soemthing temporary, then have it in your front window after. Im pretty sure theat front window counts as front liceance plate.

i dont have a front plate on my turboII either, when i get fix it tickets i just stick it on with heavy duty two sided foam tape from the hardware store. as for keeping it in ur front windsheild afterwards, i don't know about that.
out here in Los Angeles i got pulled over once , i had my plate in the corner of the window and i got a citation for having an item that obstructs my view on the dash, the cop told me you can get a ticket for not having the plate on the bumper but its best not to put it in the window cuz thats more crap they can write u up for. i dont care my bumper is clean and has no holes and i dont plan on making any

yeah i thought about using double sidded tape but i decided to go with zip ties and the cop accepted it
so thanks for the info anywase
