2001 Dodge Grand Caravan transmission leak
I have a 2001 dodge grand caravan with a rebuilt A604 transmission. About a week after it was installed, fluid began to leak from the torque converter cover. this got progressively worse. pulled transmission again and replaced front seal and pump O ring. There was no obvious sign of anything that would cause this large of a leak. reinstalled transmission and same result. it leaks more than a quart a week and is driven very little. There is a steady drip when idleing. Torque converter was also replaced during rebuild. Any ideas?

Re: 2001 Dodge Grand Caravan transmission leak
Idon't have a answer for that Brother, but I am in the same boat as you. I have to pull the transmission in my 01 as it is gone. How difficult is the removal process? Any help or advice will be greatly appreciated!

Re: 2001 Dodge Grand Caravan transmission leak
Other than a couple of bolts on the rear mount that were a real pain to get to, removal wasn't too bad. A little time consuming.
