Octane issue #87

It's a shame the front cover F1 doesnt re-appear in the issue, but there is still the pleasureable sight of #007 being driven, along with the story

Looks like a great read! I love the front cover, even though it is PS. Is that #71?

Re: Octane issue #87

Now that we are talking Octane magazine. I couldn't find any mentioning of issue #67 on here, but it should have F1 content.

Hurstg13, do you by any chance have this issue yourself, and can you share with us what the content is? I'm not sure what to expect. It's mentioned on the cover, but not in the summary list on octane's webshop: http://shop.instant-shop.com/Octanes...atno20536.html

I will say absolutely not, and leave you a moment or two to realize why.

Ah! The ears! :-)
Just my contribution to Funny Friday ;-) I knew it wasn't 71 ;-)

Is the orange colour Photoshop? Or is it #038??

This one?

The only F1 content is on the RM Auction, with a little bit on #065 here

Not as much as expected, but good content none the less

Re: Octane issue #87

Definitely been Photoshopped - look at the little rubstrips in the lower section of the front valence. Whoever did the color change didn't bother to deselect that area. I don't trust that color at all - was probably a file photo of a silver car.

Re: Octane issue #87

With a little tweaking, I do believe I have found our answer:

Early shot of #046 that was published by EVO in the article where Rowan Atkinson compared the F1 to the Carrera GT, with original photo credit to David Shepard.

Re: Octane issue #87

Simon has been kind enough to send along this selection of images for me to share with the group. The toll booth sequence is pretty entertaining.

Enjoy and thanks again to Simon for his generosity!
