Question Jimmy 4x4 conversion

i have a 94 4 door jimmy 2wd, i resently saw an add for an 4x4 87 s10 2 door with a 3 inch lift for 700, i got it into my head to take the needed parts from the s10 and put them into my jimmy and make it 4x4,

was wonderin if it was possible to move parts between vehicles???

i kno it be easyer to just use the s10 but i rather use the jimmy,

if aby1 can help id b thankful

Re: Jimmy 4x4 conversion

The 87 is first generation, the 94 is second generation, lot of differences between them. Even with the same generation, the frame is different from 2WD to 4WD, the front suspension is different, steering linkage is different, and the wheel base is longer on 4 door, just to mention a few.
