The speedometer in my 98 f150 2wd worked fine last time I drove it but, today doesn't work at all.
I checked all the fuses and connections under the dash under the hood and on the back of the gauge cluster. Replaced the rear axle sensor and checked the wiring still nothing. Checked the transmission sensor by putting a drill on it and checking it with a multimeter and it made voltage so I assume its good. The transmission still shifts so I would think the computer is at least getting a signal. Any thoughts or suggestions would be great. Thanks, Mike.

Re: 1998 F-150 Speedometer quit working
Is there a way to test to see if it is?
Anyone know the color codes for the speedometer wires and what resistance/voltage i should be seeing from them?
