door adjustment?

I have a 2002 supercab. At times, it leaks rain water right were the rear door and drivers door meet, can you adjust the upper striker for the rear door too or just the bottom one. I don't know the procedure to adjust this thing for a better seal.

Re: door adjustment?

Since no answers, I will answer myself so it hopefully helps someone in the future...

I messed with the doors tonight, it has rained steady here for a couple days and it leaked, alot on the drivers side, a little on the passengers, so had to address.

I cannot adjust the top striker, tryed, it is pretty well stationary, just a latch point. Adjusted the lower striker on both sides and once that was done I shut the suicide doors and adjusted the strikers for the main doors until they were flush at the body lines right by the striker with both doors. Then, guess what, both doors were not inline with the rear door body lines at the top, they were in the middle, so I let the windows down, did the ol knee on the door and pulled the top corner to bend the door frames in to the truck a little bit. The end result is that they feel alot more positive when you shut them; they did feel about like a Dodge, kinda mushy, now they are positive. Tomorrow I will run the hose on it alot and make sure it doesn't leak, TO BE CONTINUED

Re: door adjustment?

It rained last night, both locations are leaking a little. Still not fixed, I will investigate further and post back...
