Transmission Fluid leak near drive shaft 2005 Colorado Ext Cab 4X4

Has anyone had transmission fluid leaking at the rear of the transmission where the drive shaft attaches? I just noticed stains on my driveway and crawled under my 2005 extended cab 4X4 and could see fluid dripping... is this a drive shaft bushing and is it hard to fix yourself? Appreciate any help

If not very high mileage try a new seal. The bushing is easy to change if you have a proper sized tool. Otherwise very hard to do yourself.
http://www.transmissionpartsusa.com/ This company sells them call them with your transmission number. They are not cheap. Extension housing bushing tool. JT-0161 But search doesn't show it.

They have various sizes as the bushings are different sizes.
Always lubricate a new seal use some transmission fluid or vasoline don't use oil. Really transmission assembly lube is recommended.
