this same build produced MORE power than the 375 horse toronado (stock) motor from 1970. going with a less street friendly cam can net 420 horse, but then you need a loose converter and better ignition. this is a solid motor to get around town with. only 25 pounds heavier than a cast iron intake equipped small chevy. this engine doesn't have to work as hard to get the power. will last a long time.

longblock, bored .030, forged L2323 pistons, balanced, blueprinted. arp rod bolts. stock oil pan. have receipts. .460"/268* cam mild street grind edelbrock torker intake, hei distributor. should be 375 hp 400 ft lb on pump gas. A bigger cam with this setup could produce as much as 420 horse with tuning. And with earlier heads it would make even more power. These are not aftermarket heads, this is with good ol detroit iron.
