ECU fuse blown

Have a 1995 Nissan PU 4 cylinder fuel injected. Stalled out while driving, would not start back up. Found the fuse to the ECU blown. What is the cause?? Replaced fuse still will not start. When I pour a tablespoon of gas into throttle, runs for a minute then stalls out. Does the ECU have to be set back up or will it still function ( as long as it is still functional ) after replacing fuse.

Re: ECU fuse blown

Just to let all know. this started with a stalling problem. the problem ended up being the ground to the fuel pump in the fuel tank got hot and melted the connector which pulled the wire contact away from the spade. Cleaned and reconnected works fine. Replaced the fuel pump anyway thinking it may have caused the problem.
