Looking for engine. Can I buy engine or should I buy car?

Im looking for a 1.2 R3 PD TDI 3L. Its a very efficient 3 cylinder turbo diesel direct injection engine. Is there any place I could simply buy the engine or would it be better to just buy a used car with that engine?

Google for the crate engine, craigslist for the whole car. Not common(I would think since I've never heard of it, personally) but you could try a nice junk yard search. Make friends with someone at a junk yard and they'll make the calls to all their junk yard buddies for you. :P

It is quite difficult to find an engine of the configuration you demanded. It will be more preferable option to buy a used car which comprises this engine as its working engine. This will also cost cheap to you.
