New additions

Hey all,

It has been some time since I have posted here. As you can tell by my sig I am no longer a Silverado owner but the Avalanche forum for the most part is dead, and besides a Chevy is a Chevy. Anyways, recently I had a 2" leveling kit installed followed by a set of 305/55/20 BFG A/T KO's and just yesterday also installed a K&N FIPK gen II. I was told that by getting the 2" leveling kit that the 305's would fit, I was misinformed. But with just a little minor tweaking of some brackets behind the front bumper plus the fender behind the tire, all clears now with room to spare. In hindsight I should have probably gone with one size smaller of a tire but hey, go big or go home lol. Obviously I have lost a little get up and go due to the larger tire size as well as some fuel mileage, but time will tell if the FIPK will help in that department. Any how now that most everything is done to the truck that I wanted to get done, hopefully soon the weather will co-operate and I will get it clean and get some pictures on here.

Re: New additions

Were the tires put on factory 20" wheels or aftermarket...Cause when it comes to fitment, especially wide aftermarket wheels make fitting taller tires tough..I have 11" total inches of lift and I have good rubbage with 20x10's, and 37" Toyo's... But glad to hear you got it sorted out
