Engine/transmission swap question

Can you put a put an engine or transmission from a 1997 Honda Civic CX into a 1998 Honda Civic EX? If so, do I need any special parts? Thanks.

Yeah you can. are both cars set up as auto or manual? or is one auto one manual. If that's the case it's going to get tricky.
