91 RS engine issues
ok, here is the basic info, it is a 91 RS with the 305 TBI and auto trans.
now the issue: i will be driving and the Service engine soon light (SES) will kick on for a second then kick off. When it kicks off, the car bucks (jerks and rps drop for a split second). it just does it at random times while cruising and under acceleration both. Other issue is sometime when i turn the key on the SES light will not kick on and the car will not start. it will take a random amount of time then it will work normally again... would appreciate all info to help out. Thanks

I'd start by checking the passthrough electrical connectors on the firewall, the main one is right underneath the brake booster with a bolt in the center that over time can come loose.
