Trunk CD Changer
MY dad's 99 CV LX has the in-trunk 6-CD changer. As of late, it has been skipping CDs terribly.
I took it apart two weeks ago and clean the laser with a lens cloth and alcohol. It seemed to work great afterwards when I drove it for the rest of the weekend. Now it's worse than before. It will just get stuck a few seconds in a song and just skip like a record. He prefers the factory radio vs an aftermarket, so I'd need a new CD-changer. Does anyone know the part number for the factory trunk 6-CD changer in the '99 Crown Vics? Or have one to sell that works?
