Just recently picked up a 1998 F150 4.6L 2wd fairly cheap and the airbag light is on. Its blinking 4 - 4 (code 44) which i believe to be RH crash sensor not mounted correctly.
I checked the connections and they look good. I unbolted it and cleaned the surface it goes on plus the tabs coming off the sensor and rebolted it back up and it still isnt making the light go out. Is there any way to check the sensor itself? Or any other ideas of what the problem could be?
