No blower fan at all

I'm looking at a freinds 94 ASTRO. He has no fan in any position. I check for power at the single power wire to the fan and get 12.1 in low, 12.2, 12.4, and 12.7 in each position from lowest to high. The hi speed relay clicks in on high. I can't remember the color of thewires but I only had power to one terminal in the resistor connector in any setting. With power at the fan, we must have a bad fan right? It did come from a junk yard a couple years ago. There are soooo many threads on this fan I can't keep them all straight. Very few have blamed the fan motor itself however.

Re: No blower fan at all

My info shows purple wire is voltage and black is ground. If voltage and ground are good and no blower action, I suspect the blower motor.

Re: No blower fan at all

Thanks for confirming my suspicion. The next question is how the heck do you get it out of there? Will removing the water tank in the corner give me room to remove it? I'll browse the threads here to see what others have done. Just looking at it made my knuckles hurt.
Thanks again!!

Found this info in a database, you'll have to decide if applicable. All databases have mistakes here and there.
