Exclamation 1998 Pontiac grand prix transmission acting weird

Hello I have a 1998 Pontiac grand prix with the 3.8 engine, one day I pulled In a gas station and park the car , when i tried to move it D just didn't work , no noises or roughness just stop working ( u can rev it all u want but it's acting like is in neutral ) , I check the rest of the gears , and reverse , first and second work fine , once ibget the car running at 20mph I'm able to shift to D and drive normally ( as long as I don't step on it ) I have drove it on the freeway and it acts normal , does all the shifting I should do from that point on ... Help plZ

So you put it in D and it just revvs, but if you put it in 1st 2nd or Reverse, the car moves?

We need to find a clutch/band application chart. You may have blown a 1-way clutch in your trans. I will see if I can find a chart.
