Blower motor amps ?

2004 Tahoe: Original front blower resistor was replaced one year ago. Non GM replacement lasted one year. After its replaced under warranty, what should the AMP. draw on speed #1 be. #1 speed is used most but maybe the motor is drawing too much. Thanks. *BW*

that answer would be difficult to determine..
I would operate the blower with the resistor not mounted in the air box and see if it is getting too hot...if so get another blower motor...also make sure the blower fan spins easy..remove any debris...just cleaned my fan last week and gave the motor bushing a drop of oil...

make sure the air box filters are clean replaced ...
