its a 68 or 69 Toronado(johan) its the Riviera's bigger, meaner, heavier, FWD Brother. i bought this carat a swap meet all fugged up i had to build a chassie to get it to sit so low i tossed the engine since it was crap and went for curbside. i thought i showed pics of the 300 Z in another thread.here they are again

Chop, none of them have thick tires exept the golf

yes, yes,no. remember these things had huge 400 to 500 Ci motors with incredible torque ive seen pics of these cars towing huge boats and were very popular for that reason. there used to be one around here but it dissappeared as of last year.

That Toronado is a weapon! Really like the look of it that low. That golf looks a bit tripped out though, wires on a golf?? 300ZX is coming along nicely. That minitruck looks nice too, tray top looks great with the graphics and subs.

Sweet Rides

That Toronado is killer. I was trying to figure out what's going on with that truck is it a D50?, what's that bumper? And is that a 58 Impala grille!? I got a full show Golf on wires I've been working on, it's really nice for an older kit.

Nice, love the tornado, will have to look out for that one, not sure about the wheels on the golf but you must have known the look you wanted, progress pics as you finish the tornado
