'97 Chrysler LHS ignition switch

I have a problem with the ignition switch when released after startup it will not make contact with the key switch in order to power up all the other accessories that it needs to such as the AC, radio, ATC etc: Can some one tell me if it is adjustable or not. If I can wiggle the key switch just right it will finally mate up and all works well, but it is getting harder to do that.

Replace the lock itself first....if that doesn't fix it you neeed to replace the ignition switch itself, which is a little more involved.
