2003 GT No start, just clicks
My wife called this morning and said her car won't start. She gets a few clicks but it wont turn over. She said the radio works and when she hits the key she gets the usual start up dash lights. I am thinking it is the battery. The car has 105,000 miles on it with the original battery. When she went to lock the car the horn sounded weak as well. Any thoughts or tests I can try when I get home?

100% battery
Put the lights on and tell someone to try to start if lights get dimmer when someone starts to crank it is good sign that everything is working except battery. |

Thanks for the reply. Battery was my first thought as well.

Re: 2003 GT No start, just clicks
batteries last about 5 years, after 5 years they can be good but you never know when they will suddenly die. when you go buy new battery make sure it is fresh there are codes for batteries that will tell you their production date. |

Also give the battery cables a good going over as well as they can be a weak spot sometimes.
