Cool added another ride + tranny question

yea i just put a downpayment on another honda today its a rusty piece but its gonna be my project while my civic is my commuter! I should be picking it up thursday so I will post pictures then!

Now for my tranny question...when I accelerate the rpm goes up and all of a sudden this wierd noise kicks in like grinding metal (its not that loud just like a bearing is messed or something) it happens in second or sometimes third, anyone got a remedy?

id say a bad synchro, cuz the bearing would be making noise in every gear change.

dude i have the same problem and i let me honda mechanic friend drive it and it didnt make the noise, its like when you get high in rpms for me like maybe after 5500-6000, the acceleration gets noticeably louder and way different sound like u said like a grinding type thing maybe, if anyone can tell us what this for sure itd be appreciated, also is this something i have to worry about right now like something that might go out soon??????

Its not the synchros. He said when he accelerates not changing gears. Its gotta be the throw out bearing cause my friends '00 ex is doin the samething and my bros 92 accord.
