Safe in water??
I started my R32 GTR's engine today and after cleaning all the mold lines off I decided it would be better if I glued the two engine halves together using Testors CA glue. I still need to scrub the engine in soapy water to remove dust and oils, will this affect the CA glue?

ive had some bad experiences with putty and water. it seems like the water gets into little pores and weakens the putty.
