i have a stock 02 v6 camaro auto and it ran 15.6 at the track with a 100 pound system so it is a 15.5 car so if you beat one i would say it is about alow 15 sec rex

Just because a car is loud, doesnt mean its fast by any means. If that was true, you'd be getting smoked by every Tercel with a Bomb muffler.

Also, its all relative to driving skills. I doubt the guy in the camaro knew what the hell he was doing. I've beaten many cars that I should'nt have, on account of them being shitty drivers.

Taking in account that you've never raced your Rex at a sanctioned event, I say 17.2 with a R/t of .80+

Im not flaming you, but I think its a combo of being new to drag racing and that Hf trans. Ditch that thing for at least a dx model.

Get that thing to the track, and let us know how it goes.

Nothing big engine wise, just new induction and exhaust. Buying a new motor soon, same as mine (D16A8) but a LOT less km's Which will gimme a good base to modify

I was being nice...

Lets not open the "I'll smoke you" can of worms.

I'd put my paycheck on it if I had a job....hahahahaha

Anywho, my STOCK motor has NO mods, and Im running a warm air Aem and a leaky thermal exhaust, right before I blew a trans case bearing, and my car still ran 16.3

And I dont strip my car for racing. All my numbers are on a car that usually has about 35lbs of tools and 40lbs of stereo in it.

And my other motor, which is a Zc, ran a best 14.8 with US pm6 ecu and 4 blown struts. This motor is currently getting prepped for turbo, and will be in my car in about 2 weeks.

Like I said before, sometimes the driver makes the difference.

Do yourself a favor.....take your car to the track FIRST, then reply.
