Help My Car's On Stands!!! (coilovers?)
I have my shock assemblies out of my car and dissasembled. I am installing tsudo coilovers on a stock strut. all on a 91 dx hatch. I have the new assembly together but the I have two bags of O-Rings(Two different thickneses but both about 2" in diameter.) The instruction sheet says nothing about them. ANYONE WHO HAS ANY EXPERIENCE WITH THIS PLEASE HELP, I HAVE TO GET TO WORK IN THE MORNING!!:o

i believe that the o-rings go on the shaft iof the strut so when you slide the threaded part of the coil over onto the strut it centers it and keeps it fron moving around. basically they take up the gap between the stut body and the threaded sleeve.

Do i need to cut the bump stop or dust cover?

you have to adjust them a fair amount to have anything noticeable. If you want to have zero fender gap, adjust them all the way down... you will notice a difference, then adjust them up from there.
