Hi! Welcome to AF!

Why do you have your sights set on the GT-t as opposed to the GT-R?

Good plan man,
I don't own a Gt-R either... YET! I'm almost afraid to see what the insurance here in the US would be on one. Mby some one who drives one of those beasts here can hook me up with the price they pay, and what insurance company they go through. Untill then I guess I'll have to keep up the plan to go to college in New Z

Good Luck on gettin that Gt-T, they are gorgous cars.

Matt

The reason is simple
In 3 years time I will be 18. That means that insurance for a GTR would be sky high!
Maybe as much as £3,500.
A GT-t would not be as much. I will get a GTR when I am 26 but untill then I will make my GT-t look like a GTR
You'll probably find the GT-T is uninsurable! Unless you are already in a SERIOUS job!

I paid £920 for the Prelude this year, and that is with Full No Claims Bonus, clean license, no accidents!
Just the price you pay for Japanese cars!
There is also usually a 25% loading for an import!

Don't be mean..

Really though, it will still cost you alot..

And anyway, I wouldn't get a GT-T.. either a R32 or R33 GTR.. far better

Anyway I am going to try to get a GT-t which is allready in England!
Yes but why not import a R32 GTR to the UK.. or buy one of the many already there..
Have you even driven the R34 GT-T??
The R32 GTR even though much older is such a better buy!

Ben

in north america japanese don't cost that much to insure

for whoever asked about insuring the GT-R in the U.S. on the motorex website it says it isn't that much, since insurance companies don't have them in their computers, and they're not sold in the U.S. you deal an insurance figure or something.... I would probably cost you as much as like a supra to insure.... actually probably a bit more, like NSX range
