McLaren F1 pictures - may have been posted before

Hi there,

Please excuse me if these pictures have been posted before.
Apparently these pics were taken at the Concorso Italiano in California last year.

Besides XP5 - that car is probably the most photographed of all McLaren F1's out there. The car belongs to Dan Kennedy, but he has been trying to sell it.

Thanks for the links to the pics btw.

Great photos!!!

Based on the location of other photos in his album, I would have to guess this is the "Bruce Canepa" car. I know he's supposedly not the owner, but until we have the correct name, lets just leave it at that.

I found out the owner's name for this car and gerd was right all along about it not being Bruce Canepa. The owner's name is Seth Neiman. He's a managing partner in a Silicon Valley based Venture Capital firm called Crosspointe. They are located in Woodside, CA.

http://www.cpvp.com/inside/sneiman.html

Those pictures weren't taken in an Oracle parking lot, but at another company called 'iPass' just down the street from Oracle's offices on Bridge Parkway. Crosspointe funds iPass and apparently Seth was visiting that day and happened to bring the McLaren.

Anyone care to add to the story? I couldn't find much more info beyond that.

Car is currently being looked at by McLaren because it keeps breaking brake calipers.

For those who haven't seen these :

IMO, the steering wheel has a strange position according to the wheels' postion, ?

It's a removable steering wheel. Probably removed then put back on, but not positioned correctly.
