I took pictures of a couple of my drawings with my digital camera and the picture files are too big to upload.

This is how I make the file size smaller. Open paint.

File>Open> (your drawing)> File> Save As> Save type .jpg

Dont you have a Digital Camera, I've seen pictures of your models, so just take pics of your drawings.

This is great. Thanks to all the people who got this started especially GTMike400.

Can we change the subtitle to our forum to include "paintings and all other types of automotive renderings" or something like that.

I am going to start painting soon I will be doing a nice FaT BoY Harley for my Dad, for pops day. Found this great photo of a skyline with a nice sun set that I want to paint after that.

I read a great book. Should be no suprise to anyone

Drawing and Painting Racing Cars: Michael Turner Shows You How
by Michael Turner

Mr. Turner does give a step by step example towards the end but he mostly talks about his artwork. The book is filled with his paintings. They are awesome. I like the fact that he talks a lot about his works because I think an excellent way to learn is by viewing the "masters" art works.

I am noticing that no one book is a complete guide to drawing cars and that you may (at least I did) have to read several books to get necessary info.

Having this forum is awesome. I look forward to see many art works from various people and all of us helping each other out.

oh yea, iv done a bit of painting before...did thsi about 2 years ago for a school project...yes i did get an A:flash:

its done on A2 size paper.. thats 4 times the size of normal printer paper, thats why there are join lines because i couldnt fit it all in the scanner for one scan. oh and thescanner missed a portion of the sky in the top right sector. (i suppose it was too boring for it to want to scan it)
