yeah someone did make eyelids for their Golf... u just tape the lens and paint it with the body colour...
someone should be able to explain it better than me

If I may just squeeze this in the "eyelids" thread please. Who knows which old kits were made with chrome headlight cover lenses? Like the mid 60s Beetles had. Cheers for any replies.

For chrome "eyelids", just cover half of the lense with Bare-Metal foil(works for old V-Dubs, '50/'60s style cruisers/customs, and lowriders).

As above. Make sure you use a real good tape like Tamiya as you want a nice clean line
