Angry Mission Chikira Header .... FAILED

Well, apparently the header on the SOHC ZC is shorter than the header on the USDM engines, so it didnt fit at all, it wont bolt up correctly to the exhaust cause the lower pipe is too long ... but oh well heres the pics

First, upon popping the hood there was a lizard in my engine bay

After getting it out it ran under the car, we moved it further cause york2600 was bein a pussy and was scared it would bite us while under the car

Finally got the b18c1 block out of his GSR

All the parts

york2600 under the car working on getting shit off

How come nobody has ever mentioned to me how much of a bitch the heat shield is to get off?

Hmm, one of the bolts is missing from my stock header

york2600 and his girlfriend quarreling in the street, she wanted him to roll to the store with her
Edit: Removed cause york2600's girlfriend saw this page

my car still chillin out here

me under the car getting the bottom of the stock header off

Finally got this bitch off, we then went to the hardware store to get bolts to put the new one on with

Everything looks ready to go

View from under the car, got the chikira on

Oh snap, the fucking bottom piece is too long

So in conclusion,

and a chikira 4-2-1 header with gasket for the middle and all bolts needed to put it on is for sale as of now.

that sucks buddy... perhaps a custom exhaust is an order? you might consider keeping the chikara until you can get a custom exhaust welded up... it would be well worth the money... it'd sound and look so good.

If its for an 88-91 Si, then I might consider buying it from you.

As long as it hasnt been modified, of course.

The only thing mpfi that I have to offer is an engine wire harness from my 1990 si that I parted out last year.

Let me [email protected]

take the hedder to a muffler shop, and have them shorten it, it wouldnt cost too much, and it would be worth the gain, sorry if i cant spell, im pretty drunk

What car did you order it for? I had a 89 Integra DC Sports header and it was like 3'' or more too long like yours is in the picture. However when I used a 88-91 Honda Civic Chikara one it bolted right up (minus I had to dremel down some part that would touch the block.
