normally, the remote bass gain stuff is an option for the particular amp you purchased

contact the maker of your amp, I have just recently had to deal with Coustic, and they were great.. I was missing hish impedance wire harness in the packaging and they sent me an e-mail back asking for my address to send the part, and it got here in 3 days, and I was expecting to have to pay for it, but they did'nt ask for any payment.. my amp also has a gain control remote, but I don't see any point in running the cable if you set your system up right.. you should spend a few days just tweaking your system, for the right sound you want, and to get rid of those nasty rattles (if you don't have "dynamat", or "rattle trap").
