What should be next???

Well I bought two new models and since the Skyline is so close to finish I'm about to start my second model...
Since I am a Porsche entousiast and since the Tamyia R32 was kick ass see my two foundings in the model shop...

Porsche 911 GT2

about 20 $

and Porsche 959

I'm thinking about the GT2 cause i already build a Tamyia kit with an engine so I'm curious about the curbside one...

The GT2 is going to be build in a more free style no way out of the box and no way of keeping the white color!
The 959 is going to be as close as possible to the reality as I can since it has great detail and it's a very unique creation from Porsche...(I also saw that Pman has one in his pile of models...I'd love to build mine after seeing his progress and hearing his advice!!!)

That's it...Tell me waht you think since I don't have too much expirience and it's only my second model!!!

Sorry for my english...

P.S:I added the pics cause I know people love to see box/package pics!

Thanks for posting pics. I respond better to pictures than words

I, personally, would go with the 959 'cause I have always loved the lines of this car. I would also paint it Ice Blue with a black/tan interior. But, that's just me. Judgeing from your Skyline, you should have no prob with either one of them(I just wish I could afford a Tamiya).

Hey, maybe you can add a sawed-off shotgun and two 9mm. Glocks to the interior(murder suspect car, maybe? ).

Cool

Interestingly enough I built the 959 as my 2nd model!!! At the time I hadn't discovered the finer points of modelling, so the Porsche left much to be desired. But, I can tell you this - it's a great build!!!!

Reading your replys and considering my 'expierience' with the R32 I'll go for the 911 GT2 to relax myself a bit and then go full time at the 959...

As for the 959 color Ice Blue is good but I think a good silver might be better...Don't know for sure...

The GT 2 color is blue but a special one...I'll open a thread soon(with lot's of pics!)

P.S:With the expierience from the R32 and the GT 2 I hope I'll be ready for the 959...

P.S.2:About Tamyia kits I don't think that 20 $ are a big price...

P.S.2:I'm thinking of adding the Fujimi 964 Konig wide body to my collection...What do you think? It's worth it????

GT2, without doubt. I'm halfway through mine (Gonna be light blue TS 23) and i love everything about it. It's real quality and the rims are awsome. Be sure though to use an enamel on the rims as the indicated Tamiya colour (Gold leaf) is shite on the chromed parts.
Got a question here also which may as well go down on the same thread: Bought the new Tamiya Toyota Celica yesterday, looks great but the first thing i noticed was that the rims were so small. So, here's my big chance to put on some other rims from my collection of Fujimi's & Aoshima's....BUT...how they gonna look ?!? Will i need a body kit also if i'm gonna do this or will it look ok as it is with JUST bigger rims !?!..........
Later, Mike.:smoker2:

Put some good 18's(more like 17's( and from what I've heard it will look perfect...No need for bodykit...maybe you'll need to put some camber to them...
