Actually its not funny at all the advertisment is quite correct. My paps owned a 360glt in the early 90s and decimated all Did 0-60 in 6sec and had amazing cornering and stuff. Shit I remember him doing a 360 turn in a really really narrow road. Turned around sorta deal. It was an amazing car not known in north america at all. It was quite tuned and all. Bigger Mitsubishi turbo, lots and lots of custom work since there wasnt actual parts :P


PS thanks for the little brochure, its so frickin hard to find anything about this car on the internet except americans teasing it :P If i could find one i would get one and start rebuilding! Its in my childhood memories i remember it well I prefered it over my paps 323i (also highly tuned immense engine work). It's a rearwheel drive car too.

Post more if you have. Also my paps version had the full aerodynamic package, they were options I suppose, black Spoiler, black intake thingamajig on front of hood, and on the back window too o_o;. It was fast and really sharp in turns I swear it :/

Also ours was a two door version 360glt if i remember o_O The spoiler on that one is ugly ass looking. That is stock form i suppose.. it looks like it was abused or somethinhg lol nothing what ours was like heh. That looks like an under-stock version or something lol.. sad :/ Hmmm...... I wish we still had pictures of this car... i mean ours wasnt stock no more but.. damn heh it was great. The wheels look smaller then what we had too, and the whadja ma call it in english.. well the openings where the wheels are were a bit different. Those look like the car is just sitting on the wheels or something o_O

I have yet to experience a car as cool as it... its too bad though some asshole taxi driver rammed us at 100+ on the left side... but thanks to volvo's inginuity we were alive The side bars or whatever its called.. swell ya Plus the window where i was sitting didnt shatter it was just bent. My paps had no money to repair it as it would take too much custom work again (it was in a crash before when we bought it too and rebuilt), so we bought a new green 360glt (the first was white). took the many parts of the other volvo and ya back in the game hehe... Ah well.. We sold that green one too and got that bmw 323i and well it got mass tuned too.. NA engine so it was alot of internal work. Then we moved to canada and sold those cars.. now we have a piece of shit ford... european and japanese cars are too expensive here in north america (good ones)

The white one is more what ours looked like, except that white one is still not as full option as ours (missing light rain brush thingamajigs and other options, plus front bumper seems wrecked on this one, and ours had yellow fog lights, and of course its missing air intake thingamajig on hood, and rear level by level downforce thing on rear windshield, rims were a bit dif too, the lights on this one seem dif too, God I miss that car if I saw a 360glt today i'd get it) The black side things whatever u wana call them are how we had them (wide/thick), bottom had line stickers (it was supposingly a race car with a curse -- long story i could tell the folk tale lol maybe tomorrow its late night), had some sorta race stickers near gas tank cap and on the opposite side. The seats are different then the ones inside now (those are ugly ass the whole ones, we had custom designed seats, actually went to a shop and asked for specific spec and they built custom seats they owned ) Damn.. frickin memories.. i want a white one right now... Practically everything was custom made or put together from other cars, my paps and i spent days onto days going from junkyards Oh man.. i miss those times i swear it.. i guess its what influenced me to love cars :X .. honestly yes... I owe my love for cars to this car :/

Oh just remembered we also went on hunts for rotor brakes, shocks, coils, all the most expensive little things, etc... etc... wow i just remembered lol.. we had really nice good year tires too..

Ok i have to give a hint we were in 3 accidents (last the fatal one but because of the amazing little dual side pipes or whatever its called we survived a 100+ to the side crash, it wasnt SO damaged but it was cheaper just getting new same car and moving all tuned parts over ;P). The first two crashes well, the paint was a mess to deal with ! like several coats or something, and my paps and i spent a good deal of timing rebuilding the side (the cursed side -- lazy to write about story lol) we managed to get same stripes and all :P It was good as new and we did this twice heh.. till of course.. the final accident The car NEVER corroded!

Oh and I just realized, the front windshield had top part tinted for sun and it said volvo not thick just top sorta deal it was interesting.. it was a racing car before or something anywho.

Wow you've really encouraged me to look more into the car! I really wish I could get it here in north america but like thats gona happen If I move to europe or north africa again ... maybe Anyways... here goes:

LOL I have many unhappy memories of being held up by people holding up traffic in thier Volvo 340's- those ones were painfully slow
